Social cleansing or gentrification: Southwark’s story

Southwark Council is facing legal action over the demolition of a south London estate.  

Tenants of the Aylesbury estate say hundreds of social homes are being bulldozed and replaced with unaffordable housing. However, the council says it is part of the redevelopment of the area.
